Q: What is the warranty on Petrol wheels?
A: Petrol offers a lifetime warranty on the structure of its wheels. Should the product become structurally unsound due to a manufacturing defect, Petrol will replace the wheel. Petrol however does not offer a "road hazard warranty". Any damage caused to the wheel as a result of the customer hitting a pothole or debris in the road will be the responsibility of the customer. Petrol offers a two year warranty on both its chrome finish and silver & black paint finish. Petrol is not liable for any shipping costs involved or any consequential damages. The warranty is limited to the actual replacement of the wheel.
All warranty claims must be sent to Petrol headquarters in Huntington Beach, California for inspection by the distributor who purchased it from Petrol. Petrol does not deal directly with customers of our distributors or consumers. Distributors must obtain a "returned goods authorization (RGA)" number from a Petrol salesperson before sending any warranty claims back to Petrol. Wheels sent to Petrol without an RGA number will be refused. Upon receipt of the product Petrol will inspect the wheel and notify the distributor if the wheel has been accepted as a manufacturing claim. If the warranty claim is accepted, Petrol will issue a credit note to the distributor for the amount the distributor paid for the wheel.
